  1. Are there any plans to add scatter/gather capability (similar to that
  2. of sendmsg/recvmsg in Berkeley sockets) to send/recv in Winsock ?
  3.  
  4. I think this is useful for appending/stripping headers(while avoiding
  5. copying of data) of protocols implemented above the Winsock layer.
  6.  
  7. So why has no one else asked for it?

  28. Hi,
  29. I have installed WS_FTP and Mosaic on my 486 and I also installed the 
  30. appropriate drivers. I get an error msg "HTAccess failed and DNS lookup
  31. failed" when I start Mosaic. I am also unable to use the WS-FTP as it 
  32. would just not be able to connect to any server/site. 
  33. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

  56. FTP to sunsite.unc.edu, cd to pub/micro/pc-stuff/ms-windows/winsock.  That is 
  57. the root directory containing a variety of materials; the README files should 
  58. help you on your way.
